Coffee, organic matcha, Hokkaido herring roe, and pure Japanese ice among the products being introduced to U.S. buyers — most not yet available in the U.S. market
Tokyo, Japan, 25th Jun 2026 — STANDAGE Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Akinori Adachi) will exhibit at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2026 (organized by the Specialty Food Association) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York from June 28 to 30, 2026, presenting products from seven Japanese food producers to U.S. food buyers. While STANDAGE has previously exhibited at trade shows in the United States, this is its first time at the Summer Fancy Food Show. Most of the products on display are not yet available in the U.S. market.
Japanese food has firmly established its presence in the United States. According to Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Japan’s food exports to the U.S. reached a record high of JPY 276.2 billion in 2025, up 13.7% compared to the previous year.
However, despite growing demand, many outstanding Japanese food manufacturers still face significant challenges in entering the U.S. market independently, due to limited overseas networks and the complexity of trade and export operations.
At the show, STANDAGE will introduce the background and specifications of each product directly to buyers, connecting Japanese producers with U.S. procurement professionals.
