Horror House Pictures Earns 2026 IABE National Excellence Award

Independent Louisiana horror film production company recognized at the national level by the International Association for Business Excellence

Labadieville, Louisiana, 3rd Nov 2026 — Horror House Pictures, an independent horror film production company based in Louisiana, has received the 2026 IABE National Excellence Award from the International Association for Business Excellence (IABE). The National Excellence Award is one of the highest recognitions the association offers, and it validates that an organization has met IABE’s standards at a national level.

Horror House Pictures Earns 2026 IABE National Excellence Award

Horror House Pictures was founded by husband and wife Brandon Scott Harrell and Cheyenne Harrell, who own and operate the company. The Harrells said the award means a great deal to them and affirms that they are on the right path.

IABE evaluates every applicant against five core standards: Digital Presence, Customer Reputation, Operational Standing, Industry Tenure, and Professional Integrity. Only a fraction of the organizations IABE reviews are approved. Horror House Pictures met all five standards in the 2026 evaluation period, and its recipient profile is now live on the IABE website.

The company’s origin is a story of urgency. In 2022, Brandon was seriously injured in a violent assault. Realizing how close he had come to losing his life, he decided not to wait to pursue his dream of making films. He and Cheyenne founded Horror House Pictures together.

Horror House Pictures has built a dedicated following among horror fans and independent filmmakers. Supporters know the Harrells as genuinely good people who take care of the fans who stand behind them. The company is also guided by clear principles:

  • No animals on set. The company does not use animals in its films, to avoid working with animal trainers who may be abusive, and it does not accept scripts that include animal deaths.
  • Creators come first. Horror House Pictures is dedicated to giving filmmakers more creative control over their vision and respecting their work as they intended it.
  • Fan-supported independence. The Harrells own a merchandise company that helps sustain their films. Every dollar goes back into their film budgets.

“Horror House Pictures is a clear example of what our National Excellence Award is designed to recognize: a real company with a distinctive mission, a loyal audience, and principles it is willing to put in writing,” said a representative of IABE.

Fans, filmmakers, and potential partners can learn more at the company’s website or by calling the Horror House Pictures office at (985) 333-8086, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central.
